The North American Online College Poker Championship is a completely FREE, online Texas Hold ‘em No-Limit poker tournament, open exclusively to registered College/University students in the United States and in Canada .

There are some great prizes for the top winners. If you win the final tournament, you win:

Eligibility: ANY college or university student enrolled in classes of any kind (graduate included) for the 2008-2009 school year. 18 years or older. 

How it works: Beginning in October 2008 we will have 33 weeks of free online qualifying tournaments where the top three finishers from each week will advance to the Online Finals which will be played in May 2009. These freeroll tournaments cost nothing to enter.
The top 99 (Top three from each of the 33 qualifiers) will then play in our final online event. These 99 will play until we have eliminated all but one final player. This player will win his/her tuition and also a all inclusive trip to Cancun, Mexico.

Again, each week the top three from each freeroll will receive a ticket to our online finals May 2009. Keep in mind that each qualifier should technically have at least 3 less players than the tournament before and from experience, the tournaments dwindle in numbers toward the spring, so again, the odds just keep getting better!
